Lucian Baxter Wintrich IV is an American media personality, new media artist, and media consultant.
In 2004 Wintrich wrote the first of a short series of humorous experimental films which won him local notability and recognition, making a momentary name for himself in the cult film world. Of the five films produced, most had little actual content - all featured a different child proforming a typical action - one drinking a glass of milk, one running to catch a school bus, exc. while initself this was non-impressive Wintrich managed to hold his audiences attention with unexpected comic buttons.
In 2005 Lucian Baxter Wintrich IV in conjunction with the Pennsylvania registered company Nesso Grillo International, and un-registered record label and media production/distribution company, the Acorn Broadcasting Company (ABC), began an internet talk radio show by the name of Acorns & Merlot, released weekly, and chronicling Wintrich's life, business ventures, and current events in a comical format. The show, as refered to by Lucian B. Wintrich, has been co-hosted by a number of locals ended up retaining the co-host Marc Werner. Guests of the show include Shirley L Phelps-Roper, David Wain, and various other comedians and politicians. Acorns & Merlot was ranked as the most listened to internet radio show in the world for the first quarter of 2007, shortly before which Lucian Wintrich resigned his posistion as show host.
Setting many precedents, Wintrich has given college lectures on new media and its effects, and has worked for many different people and companies working as a consultant for media and image.
