LBW REVIEWS: Top Ten Applications Every Mac User Should Download
With the impending release of Leopard (OS X 10.5), I took it upon myself to create an updated 'top ten' application list, taking into account features already embedded into the OS.
(1) 1Password - it makes life easer. Never remember or type in a credit card number or password again.
(2) WebKit - faster then Safari but with the same functionality and UI.
(3) Adium - infinitely better then iChat and fully customizable.
(4) Delicious Library - I watch a lot of movies/read a lot of books. This keeps me organized.
(5) Transmit - best FTP client out there
(6) Aurora - best MP3 alarm clock program out there, somewhat unfortunately.
(7) iSale 5 - listing stuff on eBay in the easiest, and quickest, way possible.
(8) MacTheRipper - for ripping copies of DVDs.
(9) DVD2ONEX2 - for burning copies of the DVDs you just ripped with MacTheRipper.
(10) iBank - 100% better then Quicken for tracking your finances.

Now, it may because I lean toward the Republican site of the political spectrum, or it could be because I love a good movie about the presidency. Either way, "W." directed by Oliver Stone is an incredible movie.Watch it and reminisce on our, misinformed but hopeful, last president.
LifeTime’s How to Look Good Naked, or Fatties Fatties Everywhere: A review
There are quite a few fat people in america... and by quite a few I mean its an epidemic. 'Why?' would be the next logical question one might ask. Because shows like 'How to Look Good Naked' throw up there arms right beside Oprah and Mo' Nique and say 'Be a disgusting slop, and love yourself for it!' I would like to tell you that it is not okay to be fat. It is a health problem which CAN be corrected through a healthy diet and exercise (maybe get off couch, turn off all those daytime shows appealing to fatties and do a lap around the block - then you would not only look better naked but you would be healthier). America is the most obese country because we encourage obesity - we set social boundaries and claim making fun of a porker is as improper as making fun of a handicap(able?) person. No. It's not. Humor is humor if the person can change the characteristic that is being made fun of - if they are missing a leg then don't joke - in fact you deserve a punch in the face if you do - however if they look like they have an extra five legs then by all means whip out your best quip and then tell them they are weighing down our country. Give it a few years and we will be underwater. I say we end this absurd sensitivity that our country is developing. If someone is fat say it. They are not 'curvaceous' they are unhealthy. They will die sooner. Tell them, it will do them much better then being touchy about the issue. Humph.
