Not sure how I feel about the “redface jeans”; as for (I assume) riding clipless, I I’d be scared that my feet would get stuck against the accelerator.

Nothing better than a good thrift shop; I actually found my current jacket (a burberry wool herringbone jacket) at a thrift shop in boston. Took it to my tailor, had it resized, best jacket I have ever owned. I’ll wear it down to its threads.

Another good riveew! I’m going to have to check these shoes out. And if I get a pair, we’re going to be looking alike…with the RaceFace jeans, the shoes… hahaha.. As for clipless, I still like them (haven’t fallen yet, knock on wood), but have you tried toe cages/straps? I have them on my touring bike and work well for me. Not clipped in, but my feet still feel secure on the pedals.

Buying off-season is the deal. Just got a vintage herringbone wool jacket and two plaid wool ties, all in beautiful condition, at a local thrift shop–less than $13 total.
